Now that you have bought that piece of designer lingerie, whether you have spent the earth on it or not, it is important that you look after it carefully. Your underwear and lingerie is not just any old piece of clothing, it is an extension of your personality. Wearing the correct item can make you feel warm, sexy and naughty inside and can even fill you with a sense of confidence and power. For this reason, it needs really good care and attention. Furthermore, if you have Ed hardy clothing bought from one of the more expensive brands like Ted Baker, Argentovivo or Freya, you won’t want to be paying a visit simply because the bra or underwear have worn out due to lack of care and attention!

Firstly, as soon as you get your designer lingerie, please do not rip the tags off. They are very frustrating, especially if you want to get into your new piece of lingerie straight away. Ripping the tags off will damage the material and you will lose the information which tells you what temperature and setting you need to apply (for the material type) when you wash the lingerie.

In fact, hand washing is the best way of caring for your new piece of designer lingerie, using a gentle detergent with cold water. This is about the best way of caring for your sexy lingerie, and don’t ruin it by plonking your underwear in the dryer as this will shrink and damage the material. Just rinse it with cold water and hang it up to dry naturally. It is of vital importance that you don’t ring the bra or ladies underwear as this will crinkle the material permanently. Designer lingerie is made from light, delicate materials and will dry out fairly quickly of its own accord.

There are some unique detergents out there especially for using with designer lingerie and these are highly Ed hardy recommended.

If there are no tags with washing instructions or material types, the following guide should provide you with a good starting point when looking after your designer lingerie and keeping it sexy for years to come.
